The Good Stuff
- Strengths you forgot you had
- Tools you built without knowing they were tools
- Your superpowers. Even if you haven’t used them in a while.

The day you were born, someone handed you a bag.
Everyone you met dropped something in. Family. Friends. Teachers. Coaches. Some of it is beautiful. Some of it is heavy. And you’ve been carrying all of it, often without knowing it’s there.
You are not your bag.
You are the person carrying it.
Your bag sits beside you. It doesn’t define you. And that means you get to open it and look.

Let’s start with the good stuff, because there’s a lot of it.
Nothing is wrong with you. You’re not broken. You’re carrying a bag other people helped pack, and you forgot you could open it.
One item at a time. You don’t have to unpack everything at once. We always start with what’s working.
Not everything needs to go. Some things just need a little attention. Others have served their purpose.
Athletes. Students. Parents. Leaders. Anyone facing a change, a decision, or simply wondering what’s next. In other words, all of us.
Golf is the language I know best, but you don’t have to play golf. Your bag can be a backpack, a purse, a gym bag, or a suitcase. Different bag, same method.
For ages 16 and up. If you’re 16 or 17, we’ll just need a parent or guardian’s OK. Younger athletes can work with me through Mental Performance Coaching.
I didn’t learn this in a classroom. I lived it.
I’ve carried my own bag my whole life, through professional golf, coaching, motherhood, and everything in between. For a long time, I carried things in it I didn’t even know were there: other people’s expectations, other people’s voices, weight that was never mine.
It was while writing my memoir, Still Swinging, that I finally opened my own bag, page by page. I found the heavy stuff, yes. But I also found strengths, courage, and tools I’d built without knowing they were tools. My superpowers. And honestly? It felt like something heavy lifted off my chest.
That’s when it hit me: we all carry a bag. Not just golfers. Everybody. And almost nobody has ever been invited to open theirs.
So I turned what I lived into this method, simple enough for a high school student, and deep enough for a professional athlete. I’m an LPGA Professional, a mental performance and life coach, and someone who has done this work on herself first.
I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to hold your bag steady while you look inside and choose.
